About Toolzent
Toolzent is a free collection of 1,700+ online tools, calculators and reference guides covering maths, statistics, finance, tax, health, fitness, unit conversion, date & time, cooking, text utilities, generators, developer tools, plus meanings, how-to-say and other guides. Our goal is simple: replace dozens of clunky single-purpose sites with one fast, clean, trustworthy hub.
Our principles
- Free forever — no accounts, no paywalls, no usage limits.
- Private by design — every tool runs in your browser; the values you enter are never uploaded to a server.
- Accurate & transparent — each tool shows the formula it uses plus a worked example, so you can verify the result.
- Fast & accessible — lightweight pages that work on any phone, tablet or desktop.
How we build and check our tools
Every calculator implements the standard, documented formula for its task. Before publishing, each tool is tested against known reference values and reviewed for edge cases (zero, negative, empty and very large inputs). On each tool page we publish the underlying formula and at least one worked example so you can confirm the math yourself. If you ever spot a result that looks wrong, please tell us and we’ll correct it quickly.
Important note
Our tools are for general information and education only — they are not professional financial, medical, legal or tax advice. For important decisions, please consult a qualified professional. See our Disclaimer.
Editorial standards
Toolzent publishes two kinds of content: interactive tools and written reference guides (tattoo & name meanings, and how-to-say-it language phrases). Both are held to the same standard. Our calculators implement the standard, documented formula for each task and are tested against known reference values. Our written guides are researched and cross-checked against authoritative references — etymology and name dictionaries, language references, and reputable cultural and historical sources — before they are published, and reviewed again by our editors. Every guide shows when it was published and last updated, and pages we have specifically re-verified also show a fact-checked date. If you ever spot something that looks wrong, tell us and we’ll correct it.
Who writes and reviews our guides
To keep attribution honest, our reference guides are written and reviewed at the team level rather than under invented author personas.
Toolzent Editorial Team
Research & Writing
The Toolzent editorial team researches and writes our reference guides, cross-checking etymology, history and cultural sources against authoritative references before publishing.
Toolzent Editors
Editorial Review
Toolzent editors fact-check each guide against authoritative references before and after publication, and update pages when sources change.
How Toolzent is funded
Toolzent is completely free to use. To keep it that way, the site is supported by unobtrusive display advertising (such as Google AdSense). Ads are clearly distinguishable from our tools and content, and they never affect the results a tool produces.
