How the MM2 Value Calculator Works
Murder Mystery 2 (MM2) has no official item prices — values are set by the trading community and change with every event and re-release. This tool lets you build both sides of a trade: add the items you give and the items you get, and it instantly compares the totals and tells you whether you win, lose, or trade fair.
All items use the same June 2026 community-estimate snapshot, so the comparison stays internally consistent.
Understanding MM2 Value Points
MM2 values are usually expressed in value points, where the godly Seer is the classic baseline of 1. Everything is measured relative to that:
- Chromas & Ancients — the rarest tier, hundreds to over a thousand points.
- Godlies — the main trading tier, from 1 (Seer) up to several hundred.
- Vintages, Legendaries & Pets — lower tiers used for adds and balancing.
How the Verdict Is Decided
Difference = (their total value) − (your total value)
- Positive beyond ~5% → You WIN.
- Negative beyond ~5% → You LOSE.
- Within ~5% → Fair trade.
The 5% band reflects how MM2 overpays work — small extras are normal to secure a wanted item.
Worked Example
You give an Eternal (230) and want a Chroma Seer (320):
- Your side = 230 value points.
- Their side = 320 value points.
- Difference = 320 − 230 = +90 in your favour → You WIN.
To make it fair, you would add about 90 points of value — for example a Gemstone (95) — bringing your side roughly even with theirs.

How does the calculator decide who wins a trade?+
It sums the value points of every item on your side and on their side, then compares. If their side is worth more beyond about 5 percent you win, if yours is worth more you lose, and within roughly 5 percent it is a fair trade. MM2 trades tolerate a slightly wider fair band than some games.
Are demand and value the same in MM2?+
No. Value is the headline trade number, while demand is how easily an item re-trades. Some high-value items have low demand and sit in inventories for a long time, while lower-value but high-demand items move quickly. Use value to compare a trade and demand to judge how liquid your items are.
Why do MM2 values keep changing?+
Limited events, seasonal weapons, godly box drops and shifting community hype all move values over time. An item that is rare one season can become common after a re-release, dropping its value. Because of this, treat any single snapshot as a guideline and confirm against a current values list before trading.
