How it works
Your image is drawn onto a canvas and re-encoded as JPEG. The tool binary-searches the quality value to find the largest file that still sits at or below 200KB. If full resolution cannot reach the target even at minimum quality, it downscales the dimensions in small steps and retries. Because 200KB is a more generous cap than 100KB, most photos keep their full dimensions and noticeably better detail.
